Your Studies

Cybersecurity training for you and your team lives on a dedicated learning platform — Bytecode Academy at https://edu.bytecode.team. The Your Studies tab in BCP Portal displays your progress there in a single view.

What it is

Bytecode Academy is a themed learning platform for cybersecurity. Instead of dry checklists you go through the material as a secret agent — every module is a mission, every quiz a briefing check, every level a step up in your operational clearance. The theme carries through the whole experience: from onboarding to the final exam.

The goal is practical: by the end you understand the threats behind our detection services, why alerts matter, and how to react properly when you or your organization is compromised.

Access

  • URL — https://edu.bytecode.team.
  • Login — Google or Microsoft SSO, on the same corporate email that's confirmed in BCP Portal. If you have access to the portal — the same account signs you into the Academy.
  • Language — English only. Not localized to Ukrainian yet.

If SSO fails: check that BCP Portal has already onboarded you (an admin approved your account). Academy access follows portal access.

Missions and levels

The Academy is organized in two layers: missions at the top, levels inside each mission.

Missions — the courses

A mission is essentially a full course on a specific topic (e.g., "Phishing basics", "Password hygiene", "Cloud security"). You pick a mission from the main screen of the Academy — that's where all available and locked missions are displayed.

  • Missions unlock sequentially. The first one is open from the start. To unlock the next mission you need to complete the current one.
  • Cannot skip. Every mission builds on knowledge from the previous ones, so the order is intentional.
  • Progress persists. You can pause, come back later, and continue from where you stopped.

Levels — inside a mission

Once you pick a mission, you enter its own level sequence. This is where the actual learning happens.

  1. Level 1 of the mission is open from the start.
  2. Inside a level, you go through learning materials — text, examples, illustrations, sometimes short interactive elements.
  3. At the end of a level there's a mini test — a quick briefing check that verifies you actually absorbed the material.
  4. Pass the mini test → the next level of this mission unlocks.
  5. Complete the last level → the mission is finished, the next mission on the main screen unlocks.

The final mission

The last mission of the course line is different. Instead of just closing another topic, it holds a comprehensive final test — a general exam across everything you learned across all missions. This is the certification that you've gone through the whole training, not just individual missions.

Passing the final unlocks a certificate of completion attached to your profile — visible both in Academy and reflected in Your Studies inside BCP Portal.

Company leaderboard

Every employee's progress in the Academy is visible on the company leaderboard — a ranking within your organization.

  • Who's ahead in level.
  • Who completed the final.
  • Total training time.
  • Quiz scores.

This adds an element of healthy competition — no one wants to be the last one in the ranking, especially when senior colleagues are already at the top level. For admins the leaderboard doubles as a compliance tool: at a glance you see who among the team hasn't started training and who has already earned their certificate.

What's in BCP Portal (Your Studies tab)

The BCP Portal shows a mirror of your Academy progress:

  • Current level and progress percentage.
  • Latest completed missions.
  • Quiz scores.
  • Total time in training.
  • Certificates earned.
  • Link to jump into the Academy in a new tab.

For admins there's an additional company view — the same as the leaderboard on the Academy, plus filters and export for compliance purposes.

  1. Open Your Studies in BCP Portal — check where you are.
  2. Click through to Academy — start the current mission.
  3. Complete the level, pass the mini test.
  4. Come back later — the next level is unlocked.
  5. Continue until the final. Pass it — get certified.

The learning is designed so you can do a level in one sitting, without needing to block off half a day. Onboarding a new employee = give access, wait until they've cleared a few levels.
