User Invitations

How to send an invitation

  1. Settings → Members → Invite.
  2. Enter:
  3. Email — the person's address.
  4. Role — Admin or User (see Roles).
  5. (Optional) Personal message — appended to the invitation email.
  6. Send invitation.

Bulk invitations: click Invite multiple and paste a list of emails (one per line).

What the invitee sees

An email arrives at the address with:

  • The inviting organization's name.
  • Who invited (your name).
  • The assigned role.
  • Personal message (if any).
  • An Accept invitation button.

The link is valid for 7 days.

Accepting an invitation

If the user already has a BCP Portal account

  1. Click the link → auto-login → invitation accepted.
  2. The new organization appears in the top-bar.

If no account yet

  1. Click the link → registration form with email pre-filled.
  2. Create a password, confirm.
  3. Email is already verified (via the invitation link).
  4. Invitation is auto-accepted after registration.

Revoking an invitation

If the person hasn't accepted yet:

  1. Settings → Members → Pending Invitations.
  2. Find the record → Revoke.

The link becomes invalid immediately.

Resending

If the email didn't arrive or expired:

  1. Settings → Members → Pending Invitations.
  2. Resend.

Removing a team member

  1. Settings → Members.
  2. Find the user → Remove from organization.
  3. Confirm.

The user loses access immediately. Findings they created/closed remain (attribution preserved).

Bulk operations

  • Bulk invite — many people at once.
  • Bulk role change — change roles for several people.
  • CSV import — for great onboarding (Enterprise).

SSO and automatic provisioning

For Enterprise with SSO we support SCIM provisioning: when a user is added to a group bcp-portal-analysts in Okta/Entra ID, they appear in the platform automatically with the matching role.
