Sign Up and Login

Creating an account

  1. Go to https://bcp.bytecode.team.
  2. Click Sign Up.
  3. Enter:
  4. Email — corporate, not personal (affects domain verification).
  5. Password — minimum 12 characters, at least 1 digit, 1 special char.
  6. First and last name — for team display.
  7. Accept Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
  8. Click Create Account.

Email verification

A confirmation email will arrive at the address you entered. The link is valid for 24 hours.

If it didn't arrive: - Check Spam. - On the login page — Resend verification button. - Still nothing — support@bytecode.team.

Login

  1. https://bcp.bytecode.team → Sign In.
  2. Enter email and password.
  3. If 2FA is on — enter the code from your authenticator app.

Password recovery

  1. On the login page — Forgot password?.
  2. Enter email.
  3. A reset link arrives by email (valid for 1 hour).
  4. Open the link, set a new password.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

We strongly recommend enabling 2FA on all accounts.

How to enable:

  1. Profile → Security → Two-Factor Authentication.
  2. Pick a method:
  3. TOTP (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password) — recommended.
  4. SMS — fallback, less secure.
  5. Scan the QR code in your authenticator app.
  6. Enter the 6-digit code to confirm.
  7. Save recovery codes in a safe place — that's your fallback if you lose access to the authenticator.

SSO (Single Sign-On)

For Enterprise-tier organizations we support SSO via:

  • Google Workspace.
  • Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD).
  • Okta.
  • SAML 2.0 (any IdP).

Configured through support@bytecode.team — requires domain verification for the organization.

Session security

  • Session lasts 30 days with Remember me, otherwise until browser close.
  • All active sessions are visible at Profile → Security → Active Sessions.
  • Sign out everywhere button terminates all sessions at once (useful when you suspect compromise).
